MEVA Formwork Solution for Medical Centre Dayton, OH

Building the five new cores that form the heart of Dayton´s Miami Valley Hospital presented a true scheduling challenge: They had to be erected simultaneously to keep ahead of the structural steel.

Since the rebar content was very dense, the supervisors had to take great care to tie in with the structural iron.

The configuration of the cores required extra decking to be provided by MEVA and custom parts were required to solve the issues with erecting the formwork.

MEVA engineers provided a safe working platform using the climbing platform KLK and MEVA flipper locks.

South Canal Bridge, Ontario: With no crane possible at busy Hwy 400, MevaLite handles the job with ease

One of Ontario’s busiest transportation corridors, Highway 400, began a major expansion project through Kings Township in late 2016. This $79.3 million dollar (CAD) project includes the widening of the highway from three to six lanes in each direction for a two mile stretch and also entails safer on and off ramps, the expansion and realignment of culverts, and the replacement of two bridges − one of them the South Canal Bridge.

Children enjoy playing with it, teachers recommend it: the shape sorting box. Based on the popular toy, the architects who conceived the new Meséskert nursery designed the play areas on the top floor as a triangle, circle, and square.
